is time to kiss them good bye.
is hard to let go, you get used to it and im thankfull of being able to get people interested in my work and even tought im going to miss my panels (specially two of them that i was planning on hanging in my house)is time to kiss them good bye.
2008 is gone and im happy with how the year went,the best things besides paloma, the new house, our book (donde esta mi corazon?) , meeting hugo marin and seeing my niece and nephew up in utah was my first solo show here in santiago and getting all the comments and support i got.
so thanks to everyone that has bought some of my pieces, thanks to everyone that apreciated my street work (thanks to all graffiti writters for not going over my paintings)and thanks to everyone that made 2008 a great year for me and paloma.

after a short but intensive period of work comes a short but nice period of workless long days and sleepless night.
so i do nothing and see no one, i like this short periods of inactivity when i can read and read again my books, listening my records, ride my bike and go to my favorites places in town like el cementerio general.

SIEMPRE.
i read somewhere about photographs of paintings .... "but what is there? no the thing but a brilliant phantom of the real thing like a shrunked head is to a real head" of course it wasnt exactly that, my memory fails me sometimes especailly in summer.

CASAS VIEJAS old walls.
old walls i did before leaving chile for 3 years,
i have been organising my files lately (a big mess! papers,drawings,photographs,etc)
and i found a lot of photographs of stuff i didnt even remeber i had painted,
like this few that i did from 2000 to 2003.
is funny even the stuff i used to hate now with time i liked them a lot i wish i had taken pictures to everything i painted in those years but i didnt.

when we were young.

i love imagined we were friends when young and play together and got candy drunk together and play all day pretending we were a family and our teddy bears were our very hairy childrens.
lucky us that we did got togheter even if it took life 23 years.
